Ark-La-Tex food bank running low

One local food bank is asking for the public's assistance to help increase the organization’s food supply.

The Northwest Louisiana Food Bank inventory is running low due to the high demand of people they have been serving.

The food bank serves over 7 parishes in Louisiana and now the organization is preparing to increase stock and needs the public's help.

Organizers say if you don’t have time to shop, that's not a problem.

" If your busy and your and you say I really need to help the food bank but don’t particularly have time to go to the store to actually shop, you can go on our website and find ways to donate there through our virtual site, which is on our website," says Lucinda Chisman who works with the food bank.
