Alleged Shreveport bank robber behind bars
A local man who has been on the run since allegedly robbing a downtown Shreveport bank is behind bars.
Just after 3:00 p.m. Sunday, Shreveport police detectives received information regarding the whereabouts of 63-year-old Roy Martin, who was wanted for robbing the Community Bank of Louisiana last Thursday. Officers subsequently stopped a vehicle Martin was riding in and took him into custody without incident.
Roy Martin has been booked into the Shreveport City Jail on one count of armed robbery. His bond is set at $1,000,000.
