Fact-acting firefighters save Bossier City home from blaze

Bossier City firefighters saved a house from burning down this morning.

It happened in the 600 block of Yarbrough Street at around 8:30 a.m.

Crews were able to contain the fire within three minutes after arriving on scene. The blaze was stopped from spreading throughout the house and kept to one room.

One woman was inside the house at the time of fire, but she was able to get out unharmed.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
