Man dressed as Coca-Cola employee arrested for theft from vending machines

A former soft drink company employee was arrested for stealing cash and soda from several vending machines located at the Louisiana Tourist Center in Greenwood.

32-year-old Broderick Lashaun Jones of Monroe was arrested in Monroe on a warrant obtained by the Caddo Sheriff's Office. Jones was returned to Caddo Parish where he was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for felony theft.

Jones is accused of using a key to enter three Coke machines at the Tourist Center on November 21. The theft was caught on video, which also showed the suspect wearing a Coca-Cola uniform.

The investigation determined that Jones worked at the company's Monroe facility from 2007-2008.
