Bossier City police are investigating a two vehicle crash Thursday night on Barksdale Boulevard at Robert E. Lee Boulevard that critically injured a motorcyclist. Witnesses tell police 58-year-old Tony Norris Snider was northbound on Barksdale Boulevard when his motorcycle collided with an east bound Chevrolet Impala that was attempting to cross through the intersection from a parking lot and onto Robert E. Lee Boulevard. Bossier City Fire Department personnel took Snider to a local hospital with a severe head injury. Snider was wearing a helmet.

The driver of the Impala, 18-year-old Daryl Lamar Hawkins of Bossier City, was cited for failure to yield. Hawkins was not injured. A blood alcohol breath test was administered on Hawkins. The result of the test was negative and determined that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
