Police have arrested a local man who allegedly robbed a west Shreveport bank last week.
This afternoon detectives booked 24 year old Bobby Law, of the 3600 block of Darien Street in Shreveport, into the Shreveport City Jail on one count of simple robbery in connection with the robbery of the Chase Bank in the 2900 block of W. 70th Street back on November 3, 2010. Investigators developed Law as a suspect after receiving a tip through Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers.
Officers believe Bobby Law walked into the bank wearing a grey sweatshirt with rainbows on the back, sunglasses and a wig and gave a teller there a note demanding money. Law then fled the scene of the crime with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the robbery.
