Police catch 2 in connection with murder

Two suspects wanted by police in connection with the shooting death of a local man are in custody.

Officers arrested 27 year old Jimmy Foster tonight in the 3700 block of Greenwood Road after they received a tip regarding his whereabouts. Jimmy Foster was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant charging him with one count of second degree murder for allegedly gunning down Michael D. Miller last week in the 3900 block of Flora Avenue. A short time later, 27 year old Jacoby Foster surrendered to detectives at the Shreveport Police Complex after learning he had been featured in the local news. Jacoby Foster was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant charging him with one count of convicted felon in possession of a firearm in connection with the same shooting.
