Shreveport high school student shot twice, suspect still on the loose

Shreveport police say 17-year-old Aaron Harris was shot twice at the 4100 block of Belmont Avenue.

Harris is a student at Fairpark High School. The student was standing in the yard of his girlfriend talking with a friend, when a black later model car pulled up.

One man got out and fired four shots, two of those shots hitting Harris.

Harris has been taken to LSU Medical Center, his condition is unknown at this time.

The unidentified suspect is still on the loose.
