A west Shreveport shooting left one man nursing a gunshot wound to his knee Thursday night.
Police were called at around 7:55 p.m. to reports of a shooting in the 2600 block of Murray Street.
Upon arrival, officer found 54-year old Michael Lofton suffering from a gunshot wound to his knee. Lofton was taken by EMS crews to a local hospital with what was described as a non-life threatening injury.
Detectives went to to the scene of the crime, where they discovered the victim was allegedly shot in Bossier City and then brought to the house on Murray Street by a family member.
The Bossier City Police Department was notified and the investigation was turned over to them.
