Police detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for a man they say robbed a west Shreveport bank earlier this week.
At approximately 2:39 p.m. on September 7, 2010, Shreveport Police patrol officers were dispatched out to the Capitol One Bank in the 6100 block of Greenwood Road relative to a reported robbery. Upon arrival, officers learned that a male suspect entered the bank and gave a note to one of the tellers demanding money. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and subsequently fled the scene. No one was injured during this robbery.
Police investigators immediately began working the case and, based on information gathered during the course of their investigation, were able to develop a suspect. Detectives have now secured an arrest warrant charging 29 year old Ronald Timothy Hussey with one count of simple robbery. Hussey is described as a bald white male, approximately five feet 11 inches tall weighing about 195 pounds. He was sporting a goatee and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and glasses. Hussey’s last known address was in Roseburg, Oregon, but he had been staying with an acquaintance here in Shreveport. Hussey’s bond is set at $250,000. Ronald Hussey is wanted by authorities in Oregon as well for a parole violation warrant. Detectives believe he may have fled the area in an attempt to evade capture.
Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Ronald Timothy Hussey is urged to call Shreveport Police Detective Richard Turpen at 318-673-6955 or Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
