Shreveport Police searching for bank robber

Police detectives are looking for a man who robbed a west Shreveport bank this afternoon.

At approximately 2:35 p.m. this afternoon, Shreveport Police patrol officers were dispatched out to the Capitol One Bank in the 6100 block of Greenwood Road relative to a reported robbery. Upon arrival, officers learned that a male suspect entered the bank and gave a note to one of the tellers demanding money. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and subsequently fled the scene. No one was injured during this robbery.

Police investigators are now asking for your help in identifying and apprehending this bank bandit. He is described as a bald white male about five feet 10 inches tall weighing about 190 pounds with a goatee who was last seen wearing a white t-shirt. The suspect was wearing glasses at the time of the robbery. Please see surveillance photo of the suspect attached to this release.
