Police detectives have issued an arrest warrant for the suspect they believe shot a local man during an attempted robbery earlier this month in west Shreveport.
Investigators charged 18-year-old LaDarien Walpool with one count of attempted second degree murder in connection with the shooting of 22-year-old Alex Anderson back on May 11th.
Anderson, who was shot once in the chest, was taken to a local hopital and is still recovering from his injuries.
Detectives believe Walpool attempted to rob Anderson and when the victim refused to comply, shot him.
Walpool’s bond has been set at $150,000.
Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of LaDarien Walpool is urged to call Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
