Shreveport police are still investigating a shooting that happened Sunday night in the 2200 block of Queen's Highway.
Around 9:40 p.m., officers found Bruce Goss, 32, suffering from a gunshot wound to his right shoulder. He was transported to LSUHSC with a non-life-threatening injury.
Police say there are many unanswered questions about when and where the shooting occurred. "The initial story that the victim told the responding patrol officers was quite a bit different than the story he told the detectives," said Shreveport Police Department spokesman, Sgt. Bill Goodin.
The victim initially told detectives that he was walking along Queens Hwy. when a man approached him, demanded $10, pulled out a gun and shot him. As the investigation moved forward, the victim then told two other versions of the story to investigators.
Detectives interviewed people in the area, but many of them claimed that they did not hear any gunshots.
Detectives are still investigating where the shooting took place and who is responsible. If you have any information regarding this shooting, you are urged to call investigators at (318) 673-6955 or Shreveport-Caddo Parish CrimeStoppers at (318) 673-7373.
