Undercover prostitution sting nets 7 arrests

Seven people were arrested Wednesday evening on various prostitution charges following an undercover operation by the Bossier Sheriff’s Department and the Louisiana State Police.

One man was arrested for pimping, another man for soliciting sex and five women for prostitution.

Patrick L. Waller, 41, of the 4000 block of N. Josey in Carrolton, Texas, admitted to detectives he was a pimp for one of the prostitutes after he dropped her off at the hotel. Waller was charged with pandering and possession of marijuana after detectives recovered a small amount of marijuana on him.

Michael B. Seeling, 33, of the 2400 block of Coulee Crossing Road in Woodworth, La., was arrested for solicitation of prostitution after he contacted an undercover agent for sex for money. Seeling was also charged with possession of marijuana, possession of Schedule IV (alprazolam) and possession of a controlled dangerous substance while carrying a firearm.

Four women arrested for prostitution by the Bossier Sheriff’s Department were:
• Debra A. Crewse, 32, of the 1800 block of Post Oak Lane in Dallas, who admitted she had been a prostitute for six years. She was also charged with money laundering.
• Julie A. Kempisty, 20, also of the 1800 block of Post Oak Lane in Dallas.
• Crystal L. Brister, 32, of the 600 block of Avenue B in Westwego, La.
• Tiffany M. Diehl, 27, of the 1200 block of W. Grove Parkway in Tempe, Az.
Louisiana State Police also arrested Breanna Hoffman, 20, from Dallas, for prostitution.

Each was taken to the Bossier Maximum Correctional Facility in Plain Dealing for booking, and their bonds are pending.
