The Caddo Parish School District is looking to bring down the suspension rate.

Right now, about 20 elementary, middle, and high schools have suspension rates of more than 15%.

Some of the schools with the highest rates are on the academically under-performing list.

The suspensions range from dress code violations, to bringing weapons to school.
