Hahnvill, LA - A HAZMAT eam is investigating a strong chemical odor coming from the Dow Chemical Plant in Hahnville.

Plant officials say a 60 foot tank malfunctioned and began giving off a vapor.

The fumes are considered non-toxic at the rate and amount released but the odor can cause headaches, nausea and eye and nose irritation.
