An early morning car chase ended in a crash leaving hundreds of residents and one school without power.
The Shreveport Times reports the chase happened after a suspected kidnapping and robbery.
Londell Gilliam faces two counts of armed robbery and one count each of aggravated kidnapping, flight in a vehicle and possession of stolen things, according to police.
It started about 9 p.m. A woman told police that three men wearing masks kidnapped her from a fast food restaurant at Mansfield Road at W. 70th Street.
The men drove her to an ATM machine to withdraw money then took her to her grandfather’s house on 500 block of Millicent Way, according to police. Just after 3 a.m., police responded to reports of the grandfather being robbed of guns, cash and a truck.
