BOSSIER CITY — Police say Johnny Marc Williams fell into the Red River Tuesday night and drowned.

Officials say Williams was working on the first floor when he opened a door and fell 10 feet into the water.

Another worker attempted to save Williams with a life preserver, but soon lost sight of him.

The fire department was able to retrieve Williams body, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
