SHREVEPORT— A Bossier City man shot and killed by police officers Friday afternoon, was allegedly shot five times.
Police stopped 42-year-old Scott Gray because his truck was spotted leaving the scene of an attack at a Walgreens pharmacy just moments before.
Police warned Gray to stay at the front of his truck, but instead he rushed one of the officers. That's when police fired the first two shots. When Gray kept fighting they fired three more.
Officers say Gray, who has bipolar disorder, said,
"You just killed Jesus Christ," and then died.
The Shreveport Times says there have been no charges brought against the officers, but they are expected to go before a grand jury.
