Shreveport, LA — The Louisiana DOTD have shut down both sides of I-49 between Bert Kouns and I-20 due to sleet and freezing rain moving into the area.  All of I-220 is also closed.

Most of the area is under a Winter Weather Advisory until 4pm today. Bienville, Claiborne, Jackson, Lincoln and east are under an Ice Storm Warning. Precipitation in the form of sleet and freezing rain is minimal at 6:30am but, will begin to increase in the area after 7am. Some slight ice accumulation is expected on bridges and overpasses throughout the I-20 corridor.
