Man arrested after video-taping teenage girls in the restroom

Haughton- Haughton Police Department arrested a man Sunday afternoon after police officers discovered he hide video cameras in a bathroom being used by teenage girls over the weekend.

55 year old Paul E. Holmes, of the 700 block of Opal Circle in Haughton, was charged when police officers learned he placed video cameras inside a bathroom in his home when it was being used by teenage girls during a sleepover that was part of a local church youth activity.

One of the girls noticed a camera, told her parents, who then gave the information to the Haughton Police Department.

Holmes admitted owning the video cameras placed in the bathroom.

Police continue investigation, and cameras and other pieces of evidence have been found and are being analyzed to determine if additional charges need to be made.

Holmes was charged with video voyeurism and transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility to booking.

His bond is set at $50,000.
