2 injured in early morning shooting

Friday, November 23, 2012 - 4:34pm

Early Friday morning, around 2:18, Shreveport Police officers came to the intersection of Greenwood Road and Jewella Avenue where two Shreveport teens had been shot.

19 year old Timothy Kelly and 18 year old Corseydon Evans, were shot in the hand and shoulder, but both are expected to be ok. Neither man was helpful while police were investigating the shooting, but police were able to gather some information from other people at the scene.

Police believe that the shooting may have happened because of an argument of some sort involving the victims and another group of men. They were able to find a small caliber hand gun that is possibly related to the shooting. The investigation into this case is still ongoing.

Anyone with information about this crime is urged to call Caddo-Shreveport Crimestoppers at (318) 673-7373 or Shreveport Police Detectives at (318) 673-6955.
