3 arrested in morning robbery

Authorities have arrested three adults and one juvenile accused of robbing a convenience store earlier this morning.

Three adults now sit behind bars this afternoon following their arrest for first degree robbery. The arrest took place this morning after authorities with the Shreveport Police Department’s Tactical Robbery Unit, arrived at the Circle K in the 6300 block of Jefferson Paige Road. Once on scene there, authorities gathered information that the suspects were possibly at a home in the 3500 block of Pines Road. After arriving at that location, authorities were able to apprehend and arrest 20 year old Miquon Rachal, 22 year old Ervin Rachal, and 25 year old Merri Stone, along with a 13 year old juvenile all Shreveport residents.

The arrestees were wanted in connection with this morning’s robbery of the Circle K store in the 6300 block of Jefferson Paige Road in which the suspects entered the store during which time one of the suspects allegedly demanded money while the others waited outside the store. Further investigation linked the arrested suspects to the crimes. The investigation into this robbery continues at this hour.
