3 fired firefighters plead not guilty to criminal charges
Shreveport, LA (KMSS) — Clint Richardson, Jason Vaughan, and Billy Glass, pictured here on his way in to court, spent the morning appearing before a Caddo Parish judge, pleading not guilty on all charges.
The three are part of the group of five Shreveport Fire Station 8 fire fighters arrested after an investigation led police to believe they were taking part in illegal activities.
Just this past Friday, along with fellow arrestee Derrick Harris, the trio were all fired from their positions with the Shreveport Fire Department. A 5th arrested fire fighter, Randy Chandler, is still on leave from the fire department.
All 5 are facing charges of cruelty to the infirm, and all except Chandler have also be charged with principal to prostitution. The 4 are accused of hiring a prostitute for a mentally disabled man who used to frequent the station.
Harris was arraigned last Wednesday, also pleading not guilty. Chandler is scheduled for arraignment September 30.
