8 arrested in ETX meth raid
Mt. Pleasant, Tx (KMSS) — A total of eight people were arrested by sheriff's deputies in a Titus County drug raid over the weekend.
On Saturday, authorities executed a search warrant at residence in the 4000 block of FM 1735 in Mt. Pleasant. The warrant stemmed from probable cause and was signed by Justice of the Peace Kay McNutt.
The search revealed drug paraphernalia and methamphetamines. The following people were arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

2. Tony Ray Walker Age: 37
3. Jerod Jerome Hendrix Age: 24
4. Kieera Denice Evans Age: 22
5. Terra Marie Schmerber Age: 25
6. Christina Rene Cartledge Age: 29
7. Breanna McLaren Age: 19
8. Traci Marie Hooper Age: 27
After the alleged criminals were taken to the Titus County Jail to be booked, employees there recognized Price began to show signs of possible overdose. She was taken to an area hospital for evaluation and later placed in intensive care.
Deputies believe Price ate a large amount of Methamphetamines when the search warrant was executed to prevent arrest.
