Shreveport, LA (KMSS) — Shreveport police are looking for two men who allegedly beat and robbed an elderly man Monday evening.
At around 9:00 p.m., authorities were dispatched to the 1800 block of Abbie Street on reports of a robbery.
Once at the scene, police met with an 80-year-old man, who claimed he was the victim of an attack.
According to the Shreveport Police Department, the elderly man said he was knocked off his feet directly after leaving his house to feed pets outside. The robbers beat the victim and took his wallet. He suffered cuts to his head that required several stitches.
The bandits are described as two black males with stocky builds.
