Bossier City, La (KMSS) — Have a martini and a great time to help out local children and art programs. That's exactly what will happen at the Bossier Arts Council's 4th annual ARTini fundraiser.
ARTini helps provide funding for East Bank Theatre, East Bank Gallery, Arts-In-Education programming in Bossier schools, ArtWalk, and a wide range of classes and workshops available throughout the year.
This year's even will feature local pop artist, Tony Reans. Reans teaches various courses at Louisiana State University Shreveport, and his artwork fits in perfectly with the theme of the event.
While this event caters to adults, it is children that will end up benefiting from the fundraiser for the rest of their lives. Studies show having art in children's lives helps them to become better employees as adults.
Tickets are $45 in advance or $55 at the door, and with no limit on the food, fun or martinis, the ticket price is an absolute steal. The fundraiser kicks off at 7pm at Boomtown Casino in Bossier City.
