Authorities release video of Pizza Hut robbery

Authorities have released video of an armed robbery at a Pizza Hut back on September 29.

At approximately 10:15 p.m., Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the Pizza Hut restaurant in the 2500 block of Southside Drive.

Witnesses inside the business told investigators that two male suspects wearing dark hooded sweatshirts and ski masks covering their faces entered the business through a back door, pointed a shotgun at them, and demanded money. The suspects, after receiving an undisclosed amount of money from the business and its employees, fled the scene on foot. Both suspects were described as black males, weighing approximately 130 pounds and standing roughly five feet five inches tall.

 

Detectives responded to the scene and began an investigation. At current, authorities are anticipating the release of surveillance video of the robbery in hopes of identifying and apprehending the suspects.
