Authorities seek suspect in auto parts store robbery

Investigators are looking for the man responsible in armed robbery that occurred at an auto parts store last week in west Shreveport.

On December 6,  at around 7:10 p.m., officer were sent to a robbery at the Auto Zone parts warehouse located in the 3400 block of Greenwood Road. When they arrived, witnesses there claimed an armed man entered the business, approached the store clerk, pointed the gun and demanded money from the register. The employee handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and was not harmed.

The gunman is described as a black man, about 5' 9" and weighing approximately 150 pounds. He also had gold teeth, and at the time of the robbery, wore a black hooded jacket, black pants, armed with a semi-automatic hand gun.

Shreveport Police Robbery investigators have released surveillance footage from the business and are optimistic that it will provide information on the identity of the suspect responsible for the robbery.
