Bossier City man caught with thousands in ecstasy pills, marijuana
Bossier City — Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington says the Bossier Combined Narcotics Task Force arrested a Bossier City man Friday afternoon on various drug charges following a narcotics investigation.
Lee Raines, 22, of 3300 block of Caprizzi Lane at The Villagio Apartment Homes in Bossier City, was charged with possession of Schedule I (Ecstasy) with the intent to distribute, possession of Schedule I (Marijuana) with the intent to distribute, possession of Schedule IV (Clonazepam) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Agents seized from Raines’ residence a total of 666.5 Ecstasy pills, with an estimated value of $20 per pill, 261 grams of marijuana, Clonazepam and $310 in cash. Raines was booked into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility Friday afternoon.
The Bossier Combined Narcotics Task Force was established in October 2012 by Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington and Bossier City Police Chief Shane McWilliams as a combined effort to combat illegal drug activity and associated crimes all throughout Bossier Parish.
