Bossier City Police arrest teen involved in vandalism spree
Bossier City, LA (KMSS) — Bossier City Police arrested a teen involved in a vandalism spree.
Detectives with Bossier City Police Department's Property Crimes Unit have arrested a 16 year old Bossier City boy in connection with a vandalism spree over the weekend that resulted in dozens of tires being slashed on multiple vehicles in south Bossier City.
The incidents happened during the overnight hours this past Saturday night/Sunday morning in the residential areas of south Bossier City including the Bellaire Savannah Place and Golden Meadows subdivisions.
In all 31 vehicles and three trailers involved were a total of 48 tires slashed. Five of the vehicles also had windows broken out.
The damage done to the vehicles amounted to more than $13,000.
Over the course of their two day investigation, detectives recieved information that helped them develop the 16 year old suspect. The teen was then booked into Bossier Juvenile Detention Center on 11 felony counts of simple criminal property damage and 20 misdemeanor counts of simple criminal prpoerty damage.
More arrests are likely in this incident as it is still under investigation.
