Caddo Parish, La (KMSS) — Authorities have charged a Kiethville man with sex crimes involving a juvenile, according to the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office.

John Steins, 42, was taken into custody on Monday after deputies learned he allegedly a girl inappropriately more than once. Law enforcement was alerted when the child told a teacher.

Steins was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for sexual battery and oral sexual battery.
