Shreveport, LA (KMSS) — A local teen is now in police custody following his arrest Wednesday evening.
Around 2:00 p.m., Ravion Alford, 17, accompanied by a family member arrived at the Shreveport Police station where he surrendered to authorities without any arguments.
Alford was wanted on a warrant for second degree murder on March 2, 2013 for the death of Chauncey Broadway Jr, 18.
Broadway was shot and killed after a home he was visting was the target of a shooting.
Three other men inside the home at the time of the shooting were injured.
Alford has been charged with murder. He was booked into Shreveport City Jail. His bond has been set at $500,000.
