The Caddo Sheriff's office is asking for help locating a Shreveport man who failed to register as a sex offender.

David Breakfield, 51, was convicted of carnal knowledge of a juvenile back in September of 1996 and a molestation in October of 2006.

He was released from jail in November 2012 and began the state required process of registering as a convicted sex offender with the Caddo Sheriff's Office. Breakfield used the Wilkinson Street address of a family member to register, but deputies say that he didn't complete the process because he failed to send out his community notification cards and has never been found at his registered address.

Caddo Sheriff's Corporal Michael Escue' received an arrest warrant for Breakfield for failure to register as a sex offender.

The bond has been set at $20,000.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Caddo Sheriff's Office at 675-2170 or the U.S. Marshal's Office.
