Movie filming temporarily closes roads in Bossier City

A few city streets in the vicinity of the CenturyLink Center will close this week to accommodate filming for the movie “Olympus Has Fallen.”

The following closures will be in place on July 24, 2012 from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.:

• Walker Place from Barksdale Boulevard to the A.R. Teague Parkway (motorists will still be able to access the Chase Bank branch on Walker Place at Barksdale Blvd.)

• CenturyLink Drive from Angelle Drive to Walker Place.

The following road closures will be in effect July 25 through July 27 from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.:

• Walker Place from Barksdale Boulevard to the A.R. Teague Parkway (motorists will still be able to access the Chase Bank branch on Walker Place at Barksdale Blvd.)
• CenturyLink Drive from Angelle Drive to Walker Place.
• A.R. Teague Parkway from Jimmie Davis Bridge to Shady Grove Drive. This portion of the parkway will only close intermittently at various times though out the day.
