Mustache Madness: Doctors grow mustache for homeless
Shreveport (KMSS) — Growing a mustache has become a popular way to raise funding for charity.
If November has Movember for Prostate Cancer awareness, in Shreveport, March has Mustache Madness for the homeless.
Doctors at Urgent Care Louisiana are growing their mustache and accepting donations for Providence House.
Dr. Chris Walcut explains why he chose Providence House for this fundraiser.
"We have seen in our careers as ER doctors where families are broken and sometimes they don't have places to go and providence house has a very strong success rate of getting people back into the, back on their feet."
Urgent Care Louisiana is planning to match every dollar that is donated to Mustache Madness.
