National Weather Service releases information on tornado in Arkansas

The National Weather Service has released information about the May 30th tornado that hit in Northeast Mc Curtain County 6 miles Souteast of Watson.

The tornado was an EF-1 tornado with peak winds of 105 miles perhour, the path of this tornado went for 3.5 miles, and was 330 yards in length.

The tornado began at 3:35 p.m. and ended at 3:44 p.m. at the Oklahoma and Arkansas state line.

There were no injuries or fatalities to report.

Damage in this event were mostly uprooted trees, one tree fell on one home in the community causing damage to the roof.

The tornado did cross the state line into Polk County, Arkansas about 3 miles Southwest of Cove Arkansas.
