New Years brings big business despite bad weather
SHREVEPORT, La. — Tons of people were looking for a good way to ring in the new years and celebrate new years day even with bad weather and according to one local ark-la-tex business, they said sales this new year’s eve were actually better than last years.
“We actually profited more than last new years despite the bad weather we had in the area last night,” said Allen Wright who manages the Buffalo Wild Wings bar and grill off of Youree drive in Shreveport.
Businesses all over expect tonight to be an even bigger night rain or shine.
“We expect tonight to be just as big as last night,” said Wright. “The thing that makes it even better is the New Year’s Day bowl games that will be on, what better way to celebrate the New Years than with football,” he said.
