Officials need your help finding Shreveport runaway

Friday, June 15, 2012 - 4:05pm

Shreveport Police detectives need your help in locating a teenager who has apparently run away from home.

On June 10, 2012 Shreveport Police patrol officers were dispatched to a home in the 3300 block of Frederick Street relative to a runaway teenager. Upon arrival, officers contacted the child’s mother who advised them her 14 year old son, De’Alvin Darnell, left their home there on June 7, 2012 headed to a relative’s residence and has not been seen or heard from since.

De’Alvin is described as a black male, about five feet seven inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds. At this point in their investigation, detectives do not believe he has been the victim of any foul play but they are, however, concerned for his well-being and want to get him back home safely. Anyone who has any information regarding De’Alvin Darnell or his whereabouts is urged to call Shreveport Police detectives at 318-673-7020 or Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
