AMIkids Red River, which serves as a school program for juvenile boys has announced that they are planning to close due to state budget cuts.

“We are kind of the last result for them and we have had a tremendous amount of success with that group, eighty six percent of them graduating from our program,” said Ken Cochran, who is over the organization.

The organization helps around one hundred students a year from the school and court system.

Officials are still reaching out for private funds to try to save the program before the doors are permanently closed in the coming days.
