Bossier City, LA (KMSS) — Bossier City detectives are asking the public for help with locating a woman who is wanted for stealing an iPhone.
Police are asking for help due to the suspect's past history of theft arrests and the fact that she continues to avoid arrest.
Detectives have received warrants for Labershia Camilla Stacy, 42, of Shreveport. Authorities are charging her with theft and illegal possession of stolen items and selling a stolen iPhone that was taken from a student at the Shreveport LSU campus.
Bossier City detectives learned that the iPhone was sold at a local Game Stop, it was obtained in the investigation which resulted in detectives securing warrants for Stacy's arrest.
The theft charge against her is for taking money for the iPhone and leaving the Game Stop store at a financial loss.
The final theft charge is not related to the theft of the iPhone. LSU Shreveport Police are investigating that aspect of the case.
