Caddo sheriff’s deputies arrested a registered sex offender on Tuesday for showing up on a high school campus where his victim was present, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Deputy Ed Rawls arrested Odarrien McCray, 19, after McCray showed up at the school reportedly to see a cousin and a friend. McCray was not a student at the school and did not have the principal’s permission to be on campus.

McCray was convicted of second-degree kidnapping and is required to register as a sex offender with the Caddo Sheriff’s Office. The victim in the 2011 kidnapping case was also on campus at the time and reported McCray’s presence to Rawls.

McCray was booked into Caddo Correctional Center for unlawful presence of a sexually violent predator and criminal trespass.
