Shreveport, LA — A Shreveport man is in police custody for allegedly defrauding elderly citizens in the area.

Authorities arrested Donnie Russell, 37, of Shreveport, after he made unsolicited visits to several people's homes offering to make home repairs. During these stops, Russell is accused of taking money from unsuspecting victims without returning to do the job.

Police believe Russell may have defrauded other citizens that may have not yet come forward. He is charged with misapplication of payment by a contractor.
