A Shreveport man has been arrested for a rash of car burglaries that happened on Nov. 25 in the 3300 and 3600 blocks of Roy Road, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Travis McKay, 28, of Shreveport, was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on three counts of simple burglary and one count of attempted simple burglary. His bond was set at $150,000.

McKay is accused of entering a number of unlocked vehicles during the night and stealing items including an iPod, money, and sunglasses, said sheriff’s Detective Keith Fox, who arrested McKay.

He remains under investigation for a number of other car burglaries in the area, including one in which a gun was stolen.
