Shreveport man in jail after a late nigh argument ends in stabbing
Shreveport, LA (KMSS) — An argument between two mens ends in a stabbing Friday night.
It happend just before 8:30 p.m., Shreveport Police were called to the 3200 block of Alabama Avenue for a stabbing.
On arrival at the scene, officers found that Michael Rawls, 49, had been taken to a local hospital suffering from multiple stab wounds to the body.
Rawl's injuries were reported to be potentially life threatening.
Shreveport Police Violent Crimes detectives were called to the scene and began an investigation.
Police believe an argument had ensued between Rawls and his acquaintance, Willie Evans, 54.
During the argument between the men it turned physical which is when Rawls received the stab wounds.
Evans fled the scene following the stabbing, authorities later arrested him in the 2900 block of Boss Avenue.
Evans was arrested and booked into the Shreveport City Jail where he now faces charges of attempted second degree murder.
