Shreveport Police detectives have released video surveillance images of a man suspected of robbing a convenience store last month in north Shreveport.

Back on June 11, 2013, Shreveport Police responded to the Shell gas station located in the 1900 block of North Market Street in north Shreveport. Upon officers arrival at the scene, information was gathered that a black male suspect standing approximately six feet tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds, entered the business wearing a scarf covering his face. After being told by the store's clerk to remove the scarf, the suspect reportedly produced a handgun and demanded the clerk hand over the money.

Fearing for her safety, the clerk did as ordered and the suspect fled the store on foot upon receiving an undisclosed amount of cash. Shreveport Police robbery detectives are hopeful that still images of the suspect may help lead to his identity and apprehension. Persons with information about this crime is urged to contact Caddo-Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373 or on their website at
