Shreveport police hunt pair of restaurant robbers

Shreveport Police are on the hunt for a pair of suspects who robbed a local restaurant last night.

At approximately 10:45 on Sunday night, Shreveport Police responded to a reported armed robbery at the McDonalds restaurant in the 8900 block of Mansfield Road.

Witnesses told investigators that two men wearing dark hooded sweatshirts and masks through a side door, pointed guns at them, and demanded money.

The duo, after receiving an undisclosed amount of money from the business fled the scene on foot.

Both were described as black males, medium build and standing roughly five feet ten inches, to six feet tall.

Authorities are waiting for the release of surveillance video of the robbery in hopes of identifying the suspects.
