Shreveport Police searching for men involved in restaurant robbery

Shreveport Police are seeking suspects involved in an armed robbery early Sunday morning.

It happened just after midnight on March 16th when Shreveport Police were called to an armed robbery at the Sonic restaurant located in the 6100 block of West 70th Street.

Witnesses inside the building told officers they were preparing to close for the evening when two men wearing dark clothing and coverings over their faces entered the business through an unlocked back door.

Once inside, the men held the employees at gunpoint and ordered them to the ground. The suspects then demanded money.

The suspects received an unknown amount of money from the business and fled the scene on foot heading east bound towards Pines Road.

Both suspects are described as black males, one is 5 feet 5 inches tall, and the other stood at 5 feet 10 inches tall. 

Shreveport Police Robbery detectives were called to the scene and began an investigation.

Current authorities are processing the information regarding the robbery in efforts to identify and apprehend the suspects responsible for this incident.
