Shreveport Police searching for suspect(s) involved in west Shreveport shooting

Shreveport Police are seeking the suspects involved in a shooting that damaged property at a west Shreveport home.

It happened just after 11 p.m. Thursday in the 3000 block of Parkridge Street. Police were called to that area for reports of shots being fired.

On arrival, officers made contact with the owner of her home and found two vehicles belonging to her were damaged after the suspects had fired multiple shots which struck them.

Officers on scene were able to collect eveidence associated with the shots fired and spoke with witnesses in efforts to gather more information.

Authorities found that moments before the shots rang out, a vehicle traveled down the roadway and turned off their headlights.

The vehicle then began to fire several rounds striking the victim's home and vehicles. 

Fortunately, no one was injured in this incident.

Shreveport Police detectives along with Crime Scene Investigators came to the home and launched an investigation.

During the investigaiton, authorities collected additional evidence in the matter.

The men described in this incident are two black males. 

Authorities are still searching for the persons responsible for the crime.
