Shreveport, LA — Three Shreveport robbers didn't make it far before they were caught by local authorities.
At 11:42 p.m., officers were sent to the Outback Steakhouse, located in the 8800 block of Line Avenue, to reports of an armed robbery.
The caller told authorities three armed men entered the restaurant and held it up at gunpoint. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the bandits fled the scene in a vehicle.
Moments after the robbers had left, officers spotted them and a short chase took place. All three men were caught and arrested.
Charged with armed robbery are Myles Robinson, 19, Tremario Washington, 22, and Halston Smith, all of Shreveport. They were booked into the Shreveport City Jail.
Law enforcement officials believe the trio is responsible for up to a dozen armed robberies in multiple jurisdictions over the last several weeks.
